DIRECTOR'S NOTE   The music you are hearing was recorded live in concert at the historic Pla-Mor Ballroom during our 1999-2000 season and at the Cornhusker Hotel in downtown Lincoln for the 2000-2001 season.  Bobby Watson and Kirk Garrison graciously allowed us to include their performances on this CD.  It was inspiring to work with such brilliant musicians who are also very nice people. Many thanks to our recording engineers, Eric Medley and Mike Crane, for all their hard work.  The energy that comes through in these recordings can't be duplicated in a studio. Finally, to our NJO musicians goes a huge thank you for all the talent, energy, good humor, patience, and hard work they bring to each rehearsal and performance.  It is a pleasure to share the stage with you.
