| PRESS RELEASE December 2011 For Immediate Release Contact: Nebraska Jazz Orchestra 402-477-8446 Nebraska Jazz Orchestra presents Christmas & All That Jazz Lincoln, NE - Celebrate the holidays with the Nebraska Jazz Orchestra at "Christmas & All That Jazz," the most festive concert of the year. This concert will be held Tuesday, December 20, 2011, at the Cornhusker Marriott, 333 South 13th Street in Lincoln, Nebraska at 7:30 p.m. Priority seating for season ticket holders and Jazz Club members is at 7:00 p.m., with general admission seating beginning at 7:15 p.m. Single admission tickets are $25 for Adults and $12.50 for Students and may be purchased by contacting the Nebraska Jazz Orchestra business office at (402) 477-8446 or njo@artsincorporated.org. Season tickets are still available for purchase. This concert is sponsored by Ameritas. The Nebraska Jazz Orchestra will inspire the holiday mood during this annual concert of seasonal favorites, including arrangements by Nebraska Jazz Orchestra composers Mark Benson, Peter Bouffard, and David Sharp. The NJO will perform "Snowfall," "Sleigh Ride," and Vince Guaraldi's "Christmas Time is Here," arranged by David Sharp, "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" and "The Little Drummer Boy," arranged by Peter Bouffard, and "Carol of the Bells," "O Little Town of Bethlehem," and "Ding Dong! Merrily on High" arranged by Mark Benson. |
