FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE, JULY 2008 REGISTRATION DEADLINE EXTENDED FOR 2008 NEBRASKA JAZZ CAMP Contact: (402) 477-8446, njo@artsincorporated.org Lincoln, NE - There is still time to register for the 2008 Nebraska Jazz Camp to be held July 21 - 25 on the campus of Nebraska Wesleyan University! Registrations will be accepted with no late fee. The Nebraska Jazz Camp gives participants the opportunity to work one-on-one with professional jazz musicians who are well-known regionally and nationally. Students will take part in a full week of intensive master classes, including Jazz Improvisation & Theory, Standard Jazz Literature, and Electronic Music. They will also participate in big bands, combos, and jam sessions, as well as attend local jazz performances and fun social events off-campus. The Nebraska Jazz Camp is open to all musicians 7th grade and up. Applications are available for download on the Nebraska Jazz Orchestra website at www.artsincorporated.org/njo.
