Nebraska Jazz Orchestra presents

The Nebraska Jazz Orchestra will present its season-opening concert, "Artistry in Arranging," featuring special guest, pianist Joe Cartwright, "One of the brightest stars in the Kansas City Jazz firmament." This exciting concert will feature music by acclaimed composer/arranger, Eric Richards.

Season tickets are still available for purchase. We have an outstanding season planned, so don't forget to order your tickets. First time season ticket buyers receive a 50% discount. The first concert will be held Tuesday, October 9, 2007, at the Embassy Suites Hotel, 1040 P Street in Lincoln, Nebraska at 7:30 p.m. Priority seating for season ticket holders and Jazz Club members is at 7:00 p.m., with general admission seating beginning at 7:15 p.m. Single admission tickets are $20 for Adults, $17 for Seniors and $10 for Students and may be purchased by contacting the Nebraska Jazz Orchestra business office.

A pre-concert dinner will also be held at the Embassy Suites. For $22 you can enjoy an excellent meal, plus be joined by music director, Ed Love, special guest, Joe Cartwright and composer/arranger, Eric Richards, and treated to discussion about the musical highlights of the evening's concert.
