FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE, August 2005 NEBRASKA JAZZ ORCHESTRA ANNOUNCES 30th Anniversary Season Contact: Jenny Bindrum, Marketing, 402-477-8446 Lincoln, NE — The Nebraska Jazz Orchestra announces their 2005-2006 season of events. This season, the Nebraska Jazz Orchestra celebrates its 30th Anniversary. To commemorate this milestone, each performance will feature well-known alumni of the Nebraska Jazz Orchestra, such as: Frank Basile, saxophone; Earlie Braggs, trombone; Rex Cadwallader, piano; Brian Grasmick, trumpet; Joey Gulizia, percussion; Tony Gulizia, piano and vocals; Joe Genovesi, woodwinds; Loy Hetrick, trombone; Doug Hinrichs, percussion; Ken Hoyne, trombone; Mac McCune, trumpet; Jeff Newell, saxophone; Craig Stilen, trombone; Chris Varga, percussion; Cory Biggerstaff, bass; Matt Wallace, saxophone; and others. Season tickets are available: Adults $90, Seniors $75, and Students $40. Season Tickets are offered to new subscribers at 50% off the regular price. General admission tickets for individual concerts may be purchased in advance and will also be available at the door the night of each concert. Ticket prices are: Adults $20, Seniors $17, Students $10. All concerts begin at 7:30 p.m. and are held at the Embassy Suites Hotel, 1040 P Street, Lincoln. Pre-concert dinners are held before each regular season concert at a cost of $20 per person.
