Nebraska Jazz Orchestra Presents Trumpet Titan

NEBRASKA JAZZ ORCHESTRA PRESENTS “TRUMPET TITAN” The Nebraska Jazz Orchestra (NJO) proudly presents “Trumpet Titan” the fifth and final concert of their season. The concert will be held Friday, May 25 at 7:30 p.m. at the Embassy Suites Hotel, 1040 P Street, Lincoln. This concert will feature world-class guest artist Terell Stafford on trumpet. The NJO is also proud to present the 2007 Young Jazz Artist winner, Gabriela Praetzel, on saxophone. Join the NJO and their special guests for the colossal finale of their concert season. The evening’s musical selections include “Portrait of Louis Armstrong” by Duke Ellington, “Hey, It’s Me You’re Talkin’ To” by Victor Lewis, “Lucy” by Charley Gray, and “Dear Ruby” by Terell Stafford. Ticket prices are: Adults $20, Seniors $17, Students $10. Priority seating for season ticket holders and Jazz Club members is at 7:00 p.m. General admission seating begins at 7:15 p.m. General admission tickets may be purchased in advance by contacting the NJO business office at (402) 477-8446.
